Strengthening Leave Audit Trails with Transparent Log Tracking

The Challenge:
Lack of Visibility into Leave Audit Logs

Before this enhancement, administrators at Citizens Alliance were unable to track the full audit history of leave requests. While leave actions such as applying, approving, rejecting, or canceling were happening in the system, there was no consolidated way to view who performed each action and when it occurred.

This created several challenges:

Admins needed a clear and reliable mechanism to trace every transaction associated with a leave request.

The Solution:
View Logs Functionality for Leave Requests

To address this gap, we introduced a View Logs option under Leave Details, designed specifically for administrators.

The View Logs feature provides a complete chronological record of all actions taken on a leave request, including:

• Who applied for the leave
• Who approved, rejected, or canceled it
• Exact timestamps for each action
